but because I'm insecure let me post the card vbios numbers and drivers. I think it actually shipped with the right vbios, but before I update the drivers I would like confirmation... 30 minutes old, call me nervous nelly.

    System Bios A08 (24/08/10)

    GFX Card driver vers. 8.763.0.0
    GFX Bios vers. 012.020.000.027

bios for the gfx card can be found in the catalyst control center (ccc) -> information -> Hardware.

you can also download GPU-Z to get GFX information

Got mine this week as well. What a machine...fast as can be and its even more of a pleasure to do Photoshop work now. GPU's and SSD make a huge difference. Thought I had a great desktop but this thing is a beast. All updated to the latest VBIOS, BIOS, and any other drivers that I could find newer than what it came with.

Mine took about 3 1/2 weeks from order to powering on.

To be honest...I didn't even look. I just knew that I wanted the latest and greatest and if that didn't work I would drop back. While going through the process, there were only a couple that mentioned they were already at the newest level. I did the newest ATI as well 10.12. The only driver update that gave me any issue was the Intel Turbo boost saying that the hardware wasn't present to support it ??? Not really sure what that means because i haven't had a chance to check into it yet. Notebook has been running with no problems. What a great machine.
