The 13.5 Beta includes the 13.4 WHQL's performance improvements, right? I assume so, because AMD suggests uninstalling the 13.4 before installing the 13.5.

I downloaded what I thought was the mobility version and yet CCC kept saying there was no setting to associate it with my card. Reverted back to 13.3 beta 3 for now.

Guys do you also have the brightness control issue that I have? Ever since I moved from the Dell drivers to the 13.3 and then the 13.4 I lost the ability to adjust the brightness

The R2 works fine. Maybe try the catalyst un-install utility between installs? If that fails give Driver Fusion a shot.

You're not alone dude..... most of 6XXXM users have the same problems.....

You can switch to intelHD to set the brightness and switch it back into Discrete GPU, sometimes it works.....

Yeah that's been an ongoing problem for so long, but I figured AMD would have found a solution by now, obviously they didn't.

    Thanks anyway guys

So far so good...running 13.4 and it benches well, so far no issues that I can see. Tempted to upgrade to the 13.5 beta but for some reason the past few beta's haven't worked at all for me (well at least in Diablo 3, where it does some odd buzzing and lines on the screen, but only there).

Will keep everyone posted if anything changes.

13.4 makes my screen go to the lowest brightness setting and then crash gw2 at times :/

    3dmark11 score also seems lower

For those who are curious, I finally sorted out what was causing the lines to appear when playing Diablo 3 with the beta drivers...vsync enabled. If I turn off vsync enabled it works fine. Now the really curious aspect about this is, I don't know why it only seems to be an issue with the recent beta drivers, and I don't see the issue with the non-beta drivers. Who know's, maybe something with my drivers when I uninstall to install the beta drivers.

Anyway, I ran a test with 13.5 beta 2 and then 13.4 and honestly performance (3dmark and vantage) were about the same. I didn't try a comparison between the two with the games listed in the 13.5 performance fix, but I'm pretty happy with 13.4 so will stay here I think for awhile.

I installed the 13.4 drivers over the 12.10 (I think that was the version of my previous one) without performing a clean install, everything went smoothly and now I'm using 13.4 without any problems.

Anyone used this on the R1 or R2 with 5870 cfx? The drivers up to this point have been somewhat of a mess. I think ill try the beta drivers tonight. Hopefully trouble spots like hdmi audio and fans are not a problem.

So It works fairly well on the M17x. Lost fan control and hdmi audio as per usual. Suplanted with a usb soundcard with toslink. In vantage I went from 13k to almost 14k with the new cap and beta drivers. Not bad!
