Dude.... you're so fast in terms of posting driver update.....
Let me see how well this driver for my 6990M system...... -
-
-
So, is it worth it?
I really hope they fix GTA IV optimization, even though it's an old game. Making it use 70% of the gpu even, would be better than it's current habit of around just 50%.
Since that's the only game I play pretty much, it kinda sucks.
And the reason this guy posts updates for new drivers so quickly is because he must follow the guy who creates them on twitter :
https://twitter.com/CatalystCreator
You can too, he instantly updates if there are any new drivers. -
will work for my alienware m18xr1 intel 2860qm and AMD Radeon 6990M Crossfire? or just kee away from the enduro catalyst?
-
Problem occurs when try to switching graphic process. Yes, it switch normally to intelHD but it won't switching back into Discrete. Goes back into the blank screen. Try it twice from the right click and Fn+F7, it give the same blank screen. Decide to uninstall the driver and using the 2nd method (Uninstall driver catalyst manager on Control Panel-Install the driver from the Dell Support and then Installing direct to this driver. The 1st try, I just install it on top of my 13.4 WHQL driver. I never have any problem installing the driver using this way since the driver above 12.1). And still have the Blank screen during switching into Discrete graphic.
So, It's no go for me, revert back into 13.4 WHQL driver for now.
Sorry for my bad english.... -

The driver installed without any issue, however there doesn't seem to be an increase in performance. 3dmark scores are exactly the same as before.

I'd look at games since 3dmark is not representative when looking at different drivers.
-
didnt see any difference on my 6990m either
-
what about tomb raider i maxit out on ultimate but drops framrates like hell, which is the best settings or drivers for that game. i'm having the 6990m crossfire on alienware m18xr1 intel core i7 2860qm, 12gb ram
thanks in advance!
