    lol...

BTW installed without any BSOD on M17x R3. Seems pretty solid driver for BF3.

You had a clean install or installed them over your previous drivers?

Running 13.8 beta 1 right now on windows 8 without problems. Doesn't look like something worth upgrading for me me at the moment.

Installed over the previous beta 1 version and no problems at all. The good news is Doom 3 BFG edition works! So far the only problem I have is running 3dmark vantage. Gives some strange error but it's not the first time an AMD beta release has broken 3Dmark. Otherwise all my other games seem to run great and it is a bit faster then the beta 1 version.

i played about 2 hours of splinter cell: blacklist with this driver. for the most part it plays ok. for some reason, at different locations in the game it caps itself on 30 fps and the gpu usage goes down to 50% and cpu at around 30%-40%. maybe its just me. im using 1 7970m.

    I also installed 13.8b2
I played saints row 4 today and got throttling and a thermal shutdown.
Lowered the settings from ultra(v-sync on) to high(v-sync on)
    This still resulted in throttling.

I installed the drivers but CCC started crashing and so did every other program on my computer.

To fix the issue I un installed the drivers completely and reinstalled 13.8b2 (at first I had flashed on top of my previous drivers) but I lost the option for hydravision and a few others.

Now to fix that issue I installed the 13.8b1 drivers on top of the b2 drivers...since the drivers don't roll back it restored all the options that were missing in the new version and I my display driver stayed to the latest version.

Just leaving this here in case someone runs into a similar issue as me...AMD drivers can be a pain to handle

Hmm, I seem to have decreased performance with these drivers.

I went from 13.4 to 13.8 beta 2, and from what I remember (it's a little blurry, it's been awhile), my old 3DMark11 scores with 13.4 were around 6500. Now, my score was a 5990. Also, I overclocked my card to 950/1450 and it was clocked at about 6600, but before I was getting 7100+. Any ideas of what could be wrong here?

Hi gang, just installed 13.10 beta, games run fine, 3d mark 11 fine, no worries there. Just wanted to update my windows performance index and now my gpu is scoring 6.0 while previously it was 7.6.
Just ran 3d mark 11 again and it gave the score I am used to seeing. So I am not worried, more a bit puzzled. Any thoughts?
I already played with powerplay, but since the nark 11 score is ok dont think the problem lies there
