    Hiya

I have a M17x R2 but apparently I am supposed to pay £61 for backup windows dvd as I didnt order those during my order.

Is it possible to create backup discs from the recovery partition?

    Thanks

Your system should have shipped with a windows OS disc and also a resource disc (which is particularly useless as the drivers on it wont be up to date anyhow and I wouldnt recommend using it to clean install - best to get updated drivers direct from support/downloads)

Unless Dell have decided against shipping with these as standard (mine did) and are now charging for them, you should get them included afaik.
