Very long story short, I am supposed to get a red screen and chassis replaced.

talking for about 1.5 hrs on the phone, it seems like:

    1) There are no Red screens available at all in the inventory
    2) Dell is no longer purchase and restock red parts according to the warehouse.

Just wanted to give all of you nebula red owners that when you need to have your screen replaced, dell will not have one in color red.

I have a screen that is yet to be shipped, but I could not fully confirm its color.

Oh no!!!! Had the same issue with the good ol' Area-51 M15x two years ago heheh...

But jeez. The R2 isn't THAT old. Makes me worried about my R3 in the next 1-2 years

Dont you have to actually pay more money to get that red color anyway? Lame sauce.

This is ridiculous. So you technically do an upgrade in color but later realize that they dont have parts so you dont get to fix it...
