    I'm sorry.

    Hey,

I ran AlienRespawn a few days ago to resolve a few issues I had been having with my computer. However, (ontop of a few other issues), I am unable to install any NVIDIA drivers on my computer. The two I've tried the most are the 197&260.99 drivers, which I had saved from before the alienrespawn, so I know they work with my machine.

Whenever I try to install any of the drivers it either says that the driver installation has failed, or that the installation failed because vidia control panel could not be installed. I tried to install the driver/control panel manually, and I tried to manually upate the driver software using device manager.

I've tried running the fix from the issues already posted around the internet that seem at least similar to mine without success (mainly the manual reinstalling).

    Please help :(.

use Driversweeper to remove any trace of old nvidia display drivers then use CCleaner for the rest. That should do it. Happy for you that the new ones work for you.

I already ran driversweeper&CCleaner, however I ran these again just in case. Drivers still won't install with the same problem.

I would try a clean install using the Windows CD, and have the lastest drivers downloaded for install.
