Need Clevo 6990m Vbios

Upgraded m17x r2 with dell 6990m's pulled from a m18x. I need the clevo vbios to flash to them to make them work. Thanks!

 

Just wondering why wouldnt they work with the Dell vbios?

 

Even if you flash the Clevo vBIOS you'll still have some issues, including the fan speed.

I also believe you'll have more luck asking this in the Sager & Clevo subforum so if you want a mod to move your thread there, just send your request pressing the report button

 

Here you go. But this won't solve fan issues.

Windows detects the cards as standard vga adapter so I was thinking that flashing the clevo vbios might fix that.

 

I would think drivers would also fix it. Windows never detects my cards model until the drivers are installed.

 

Agreed, need to install the AMD driver and that should detect the cards correctly.

 

OK i have a new problem I go to flash the second card and I get an "adapter not found" error.... I tried re installing both cards and I get the same error... any ideas on that LOL

 

Can M17xr3 users use the clevo vbios to raise the voltage on 6990ms?

What is the latest version?? I got the one from techpowerup and card 0 flashes fine
EDIT: After installing the modded drivers suggested in the main thread it still doesn't install the display driver

Any ideas at all?

Dead card apparenthy... wont work on my m18x either
