Change your power management settings to 'performance'

Change your Nvidia control panel settings to 'max performance'

my guess is that you should get a score over 6300 combined

did you check your temps? I do recall dell's vbios having throttling issues at certain temperatures.

Try going into AlienFusion (alienfx or command center menu) go to advanced settings, and go down to graphic processor, and select max performance in the plugged in area

That's completely like ran by the iGPU. It's no big deal. Although try running demanding games like BF3 on ultra setting and the likes. You should get good FPS even on stock clocks; ..If not, it's the igpu interfering. I have a somewhat situation with mine once OC'ed using 3DMark 11.

All games at 310.64 beta if continously OC'ed higher, same as with FPS going up. In my case once I go up the OC, 3DMark 11 gives lower scores.

Though all my games from BF3, Metro 2033, TW2, Deus Ex, Diablo 3, Crysis 2 HRTP / Dx 11, Rage, Skyrim all goes up in FPS if OC is increased. I get bogus results in 3DMark 11 due to igpu. My stock 3DMark 11 is also P6000-6100. Goes P6277 at slight OC, then goes lower with score once increased in OC.

Try Heaven DX11 Benchmark, my results is quite alright OC'ed. Though Heaven Dx 11 says my GPU is intel 4000 HD lol..

@Soonies, It's already set to max perf. But the only option I see is the integrated graphics, not the 680m. 2012-12-13 12_48_57-Alienware Command Center.png 2012-12-13 12_49_12-Alienware Command Center.png
@theif: The thing is, I did it both on OC'd and Stock Config, and true, the non-OC'd is gives a much higher score, but not far from what I was getting. Still on the 2400 mark.
I tried running the Batman AC on max settings at 1080p and it was just kicking at 7.X FPS

    Simple :D :p

Run GPU-Z, and HWInfo with FRAPS run your game at both stock clocks and OC. Forget about MSI Afterburner, use NVidia Inspector.

I usually monitor The Witcher 2 and BF3 on Ultra, 1080p, monitor FPS with v-sync on.

Both GPU-Z and Hwinfo 64 should coincide with the highest core and memory clock at a specific clock speed. Then use the OC setting, check reading.

680M is 719 Mhz core / 1800 memory Mhz stock. GPU-Z and HWinfo 64 reads half the memory, Inspector reads full.

    Like these.

I just did this benchmark right now with 310.64 beta. It's at stock clocks.

Would my BIOS have something to do with the issue? I just called customer service and they said they'll be replacing my 680m sometime tomorrow. My worry is, what if it's not really broken and the issue is with something else.

Anyways, here's what I got while playing Batman Arkham City [Maxed Settings @ 1080p] Running at 11-14 FPS

Thank you bearing with me. I'm kind of a newbie on this. :)

Yeah, I think you're completely running on Intel 4000 HD. Your 680M might have unseated itself on the motherboard or many other things. Just let them fix it, good luck. I have AO9 Bios..

They'll fix it tomorrow you said, that's quick :)

Ok, I had this issue, its your drivers. The benchmarks are running on the nvidia GPU, I had the same issue, clocks were stuck at 324mhz and I was not able to speed it up. Best thing to do it to install the newest beta drivers. I think we are up to 310.70 right now. Then check your clocks, they shouldnt be at 324mhz core clock, should be dynamically going between 100 and 758.

EDIT: Looks like your running windows 8 as well, I had the issue on windows 8, the 306.97 drivers don't clock properly on windows 8 for some reason, use the latest BETA drivers from nvidia.
