Is there anyone in here who has the same version as me and can help me with the right drivers,(chipset, video, and others) to be able to enjoy my Aw???!!.....Cuz at this point i am really disapointed

There are a few posts here on the drivers. There is a Driver for the R1 by Batboy, which some people have had great luck with.

I know you need to go into your BIOS and ensure that the video cards are enabled.

Also, the Bios upgrade fixed my adapter issues with my battery, so I can't help you there. Can you call Dell Support, or did it run out?

Try those Video drivers, and post if you are still having issues, and I will look for the specific posts and direct you to them if you can't find them. Sorry have a meeting or I would do it now.

Performance wise, check your Device Manager, does it show your video cards?

well I think you have to address the problems with the Battery and Charger first.

If your laptop detects an unkown battery or AC adaptor it will revert to the 9400 GPU and down clock the system.

Try a reset first - remove ac power, Battery, and hold down the power button for 30 seconds, replace battery and AC poweer and boot into BIOS and see what it says for AC and Battery

So first AC adaptor, it maybe a problem with the BIOS, or it could be the adaptor. You can try reverting to A03 (A04 was not a real improvement)

but you may need to get a replacement AC adaptor or borrow one if you know someone with one.

The Battery problem should be fixed once you have a Identified AC adaptor in place.

Just flash back to the A03 BIOS.
All that A05 is trying to do is fix what A04 did wrong. You'll be very happy with that, also nVIDIA released the 266.35 drivers but beta, they seem to work pretty good,i had no issue with them.
    Cheers

dave-p, you are totally right.....the thing is i did that already, with the power button and all of that! When in bios on the Ac adaper tab...i have no V number, there is nothing... if my memory recalls, it should be there 190V or 193 or whatever. For me there is nothing there.....I hope i can make it...i'll keep try it!....Can it be possible to be a chip on the motherboard fried ? cuz this sometimes happens.

And katalin, thx for the 266.35 info im going to try it! and also for the A03 bios version

There is something else.....Chipset driver< can someone help me out with that....is there a better version or is not that much of importance!!
Also.....the order you install the drivers >>>is it really that Vital?

Im going to try to downgrade back to A03 and see how things are going>>> Thanks for the tips guys....and i'll tell you how things work after !

Take a look HERE but they might be outdated is just for you to have the order,be sure to have the latest versions from Dell site, except for your GPUs try out the 266.35 beta they give promising results.
    cheers

OK so i downgraded back to A03 and suddentlly i have Ac Adapter Type : 210V which never happened before! But still is signaled to me that this is unrecognized version of AC ADAPTER and battery may not charge....

One step ahead two backwards....This sucks!

Check the model of the AC adapter you are using...Dell uses two different ones...one is a Delta unit (I don't know the part number) and the other is the Flextronics PA-9E. Both are rated at 240W. If you are not using one of these the lappy will insist you are on battery power and refuse to do several important things...like power the discrete gpu's! In BIOS it should show adapter power as 240W...if it shows anything else you may have an adapter prob or adapter identification prob. Bios and adapter must handshake correctly for it to show 240W. Bios A04 was famous for showing 193 watts even if you had the correct adapters. A05 seems to have cured that prob for me but others love A03.
