    Hello all,

    Well, here is my dilemma...

Around 4/10 I ordered a XPS 17 with the following specs:

    The L702X:

    XPS 17
2nd generation Intel Core i7-2720QM processor 2.20 GHz
    6GB,DDR3,2 DIMM
    Backlit Internal Keyboard - English
    17.3in FHD WLED TL (1920x1080) 3D
NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M 3GB graphics with TV Tuner
    1.0TB 500GB 7.2k HDD x 2
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
    Integrated 10/100/1000 Network Card
Tray Load Blu-ray Triple Writer (reads and writes CDs, DVDs, BDs)
    Power DVD 9.6, 3D
JBL 2.1 Speakers with Waves Maxx Audio 3
    Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 and Bluetooth 3.0
92 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
Recovery DVD for Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 64bit, English
    3rd Party Guaranteed buy-back program
Plant A Tree - Workstation Offset

Since we were getting hit with delays and etc, I decided to look at the AW M17xR2 and I found one that fit my budget on outlet:

    The AW M17x R2:

    Alienware M17x R2 Laptop
Processor Intel Core i7 740QM Quad Core Processor, 1.73GHz
Blu-ray Disc (BD) Combo (Reads BD and Writes to DVD/CD)
    Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium
    5.1 Channel Audio
17 inch UltraSharp WUXGA (1920x1200) RGB LED Display
    Dell Wireless 1520 802.11n Half Mini-Card
240W AC Adapter with 125V Power Cord
Crossfire 1GB ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870
    9 Cell Primary Battery
    Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Module
8 GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz (2 DIMMs)
320 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
    64BIT Operating System
    RAID 0

    Now the problem...

I found the one I wanted from outlet so I placed my order when I was on break. The next break (in 3 hours) I had I was going to call and cancel the XPS order. So the next break comes and I refresh my order status for my XPS, sure enough - shipped (was "In Production" before ). Then I check the AW - shipped as well :/

So now I have two laptops coming to me, and I don't know what to choose. Hardware wise, I believe the XPS wins, however there is something about the AW that keeps me coming back.

What does everyone think of this issue?
