I have the links for driver order but had a question about weatherproof not I should install drivers before windows update? Didn't command centre require some windows framework to be Installed first? Net4 or something?

The wireless n1000 speeds are brutal too .. It can't even play a YouTube video without pausing :/

About to do a fresh install again just thought I'd ask what was on my mind.

    1. The Alienware Command Center requires .Net Framework 4.0.

    2. The wireless speed can depend on lots of elements. Can you play that YouTube video without pausing when you plug in your ethernet cable? How far is the laptop from the router/ modem?

Thank you. Just to clarify can I specifically download that framework or is it somewhere in the 500 windows updates that I have to keep doing before installing command centre?

Every other device in the home is fast. Ps2, phones desktop on wireless card all using wifi all play YouTube instantly . The AW ironically is the only one that can't even do it

Any .Net Framework 4.0 is fine. You can Google and download it straight from Microsoft website. But you need it before installing the Command Center. Otherwise, the installation would not run.

Try Driver sweeper to uninstall your wireless driver and download the one from Dell's website. You should be able to find the stock drivers with your Dell tag. Also, try speedtest and compare it with the other devices. I always use cable even though I'm like 20 ft away from the modem. The speed is just way more stable with cable then the wireless even though I have the Killer N 1103 lol.

Anyone have ideas? Could one antenna have come loose? It's the ONLY driver that isn't finishing installing and just ends up at the above screen

Can someone download the n-1000 driver and email it to me? Want to be sure I'm trying the right one. What if there is another card in there is that a possibility?
