    Need help with nvidia driver

    I am using 980M on the alienware 17 r5. I tried to upgrade to 353.30 today, i modded the inf file but the install would fail every time i tried it (it will pass the compatibility test). So I decided to do a clean install using the 350.12 driver, again, it failed to install the graphics driver. Even the 347.88 failed to install. Both 350.12 and 347.88 would work previously. Any suggestions on what i should do?

    Did you use DDU prior to installing the older drivers?
