    could not find any suitable info on the boards.

    Im swapping my standard HDD on my r3 to a 128gb SSD

    I created restore CDs, and now trying to boot from cd and it does not let me, apperantly i need a minimum of a 298gb HDD because my stock one was 320gb. Now Im stuck.... with a disc in the slot I know not what to do :)
    Please help

    Just do a fresh install then go that route.
    In your case, the SSD has to be alligned and it's a PITA comparing to a fresh install :)

    Yeah I guess ill d that.. now can anyone tell me how to get that disk out from the drive?

    eject button on right top of your R3?

    ^^^ Yeah :)) knew that

    So I did a clean install.. this stinks... nothing from alienware left... ill try to folow th elook and feel guide :,(, is there even a way to alighn the two ?

    Unfortunately there is no easy way to align them except for the fresh install. Its a pain in the butt sometimes, but its definitely worth it in the end. You'll have a happier SSD and better user experience in the end.

    Just follow Batboy's guide and you will have a fully AW computer before you know it ;)
