    Hi,

My question is for anybody who perform succsessful installation of pair 6990M with Crossfire on m17x r2.
I need some help to understand what I can choose.

I've contacted CLEVO reseller in my country about pair of 6990M,
and they purpose me 2 variants, so they could sell me:
    - pair of 6970M (as they say cards have to be used for clevo X7200)
    - pair of 6990M (as they say these ones for clevo X7201  )

Are both of reseller propositions could be installed in my m17x r2? (taking to account that cards are for different clevo models).
And what is the "difference" from clevo's side?

Thanks for any advice. And sorry for my english.

I saw that too and many are confused by their statement concerning the mobility 6990 not working in the X7200.
The card is a MXM 3.0 type B, just Iike her little sister, the mobility 6970. I think is just not officially supported in the X7200, that's it.
Members here have them running in the M17x R2 already.

Those cards should work fine in a m17x R2.

    please refer to this guide:
