    Eurocom 7970m kit has functional hdmi video and audio; I've been enjoying this card with no regrets.

    This is really good news. I didn't know that their 7070M kit for M17xR2 already supports HDMI video and audio. Thanks to the news. :)

    This IS good news!
    you can hook up your M17xR2 to your tv with a HDMI cable AND have audio?, you tested it?
    This was the main reason why i was reluctant to get the 7970.

    I should have gotten myself this card instead of 680m :(

    Thought the HDMI + audio or display port would not work as they mentioned some older R2 won't support display port on 7970m.

    I'm planning on snagging the GTX 675MX when I get the cash. :p The 7970M was nice, but I don't think I need that kind of firepower in this machine. Unneeded for what I play. :p
