I use shin etsu , it's the best.

I've got shin etsu shipped with the cards but from tests it's about 1C behind Zalman STG-2 and 2C behind IC Diamond.

So, the eBay company said they will take it back and test it in an msi pc and see if it works. If not they will send a replacment. This sounds like a scam to me. They are going to say it works no matter what happends with it. What can I do.
-
Also, if I'm going to send this card back i need to flash the original msi vbios back onto it. If anyone has one I'd appreciate it
-
If you didn't sent the card back someone else bought MSI 780M and will try to install it in M17x - http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...0m-in-alienware-m-17x-r3.772681/#post-9951443
Ask him for vBIOS

i just wanted to end this thread the right way. with an ending.
I sent back the card for them to "test". they said the would test it on there pcs and tell me weather it was broken to see if i can get a new one.
they get the card and promply send me a message that said there was "physical damage" heres the exact message
We rec'd the GTX 780M GPU back and after inspection we found signs of physical damage to the card. We found broken off pieces of the GPU. There are small components of the GPU that are missing due to mishandling or misuse. Please send me your email address so I can email you the photos from the GPU. I have detailed photos of the broken part that I can send you.
At this point there is nothing else that we can do about the GPU.
are you fing kidding me? pieces missing?
i told them to shove their pictures up their asses and told them i was opening a case with Paypal. after receiving a threatening reply to that, more or less telling me theres no way ill win and i have no case, i decided to leave it at that a start the paypal case.
Long story short, paypal just decided in my favor and i received a full refund
What i learned from this experience: For no reason should you EVER order anything from powernotebooks.com or their ebay store. -

OP, not to offend but this is why you take pictures, with proof like the date and a name or something, of everything you send back! Shady companies will say you broke something but if you've got proof they will (usually) back off. That and always pay with Paypal because they will side with the buyer like 99.9% of the time. -
Yea I learned my lesson. I'll be taking DETAILED pics of everything I send back from now on
-
got the new card. installed. every problem i had before is gone. everything works perfect.
THE END.
New 780m GPU installed, now doing funny things
