Ok guys, the Dell tech came out today and replaced my motherboard because since day one that I got this Laptop last Friday it's always given me the BIOS error about being a "Non Dell Adapter" and wouldn't run on it. So the new motherboard didn't solve the problem but I waited on the AC Adapter to be delivered and it got here about half an hour ago and it works, battery is charging and it's running off of the Adapter now.

Anyways, I went ahead and pushed the Stealth Mode button to see if I was in it, which it turns out I wasn't. The Stealth Mode button won't put me in Stealth Mode for some reason, so I enabled the Stealth Mode indicator. It's green and shows that I wasn't, so I told it to enable Stealth Mode and it did, the light became brighter and in the CC it showed Stealth Mode. So I disabled it via the Stealth Indicator again because when I push the Stealth Mode button it asks if I want to enable it but it never actually enables it or disables it.

So after I disabled Stealth Mode I restarted the computer, turned on the Stealth Mode indicator to make sure I wasn't in Stealth Mode and it was green so I was good to go. A side note, when I click Auto Fix on the Stealth Mode indicator and then enable Stealth Mode, it won't change the icon color to red when I have Auto Fix enable, even though it's enabling it. I have to turn off Auto Fix for the icon to change color. Anyways, I started up Furmark with Catalyst Advanced AI and got little to no better results than before, which is an average of 55 FPS. Here is a screenshot of it, and it won't show the temperature of my GPU for some reason it just says 0 degrees.

So I don't get it, I finally am positive I'm out of Stealth Mode and have a working AC Adapter running my system but I still can't get any performance out of my Dual 5870's... Here is my system specs again, please let me know any ideas I can do at this point besides giving up and returning it to Alienware.

    Alienware M17x R2, Intel Core i7 720Qm, 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3, Dual Mobility HD 5870's Crossfire.

Edit: Wow this is strange, after I posted this I went and ran the test again and got it to average around 124 FPS. Also I just ran 3DMark Vantage and scored 12,052 so I'm not sure if that's where I should be or not. Is there a reason my cards are performing well sometimes and not others?

    try a reset

remove ac power, battery, hold the power button down for 30 seconds

put everything back, reboot and test
