no, when screen is black it's not booting, because no windows sound and also the status led are off and it means no hard disk activity
yes, i do the Fn+On and it say every thing is good and no problem
but random times notebook is working well, and random times display is black and off
BIOS is uptodate, because notebooks is new and i get it yesterday (A09)
what i should to do now? :(
does it is good to open the notebooks and check the LCD connector cable?

I called dell for me, and I asked if I open the laptop I will loose my waranty? The unser was no, so you can unscrew 2 screws and open the laptop, on youtube you can find videos how to do that

There is a small chance that the problem is in the connector , you can try, it will take no more than 30 minutes
If this does not help, most likely will have to contact support

I may not disassembly this model of a laptop that R3 and 4 are all simply, I think here in the same way. The connector is located under the keyboard. Look on YouTube how to remove the keyboard

If you want to problem eliminated free find a Dell representative in your country
If you want to fix quickly find the one who wants to be repaired, but in this case, you may lose your warranty

Find phone number or address of the service center on the Dell website , call and ask where to go with your problem

That's your LCD ribbon cable. It connects the LCD to the rest of the computer. Was it loose at all? Or does it look damaged?

If you connected your computer to an external display and you are STILL having the issue then I would think the GPU is probably not working as intended an may need to be replaced. If it was that LCD cable and you connected it via an HDMI cable then the problem should go away, it shouldn't be present as the HDMI cable won't use that cable at all.

If you switch to integrated graphics FN+F5 what happens? Does the screen work like that? or does it get better? worse?

    Hi,
I'm also experiencing this problem with my New Alienware 17 base. This happens to me random too. It goes to black screen and nothing will happen when you 1st turn on the computer or restart it.I have to force power button off to turn this off and restart. If the logo Alienware appears upon restart it goes thru to the Windows and it works fine, if no alienware logo appears, it is just black screen. When its in blackscreen i tried to placed in HDMI to TV but no image was displayed, So i need to power button restart it off again to make it work.

Any solution for this? Need help please.
