Hi all. So, I finally decided to dish out some money and get an Alienware laptop to replace my old one that's falling apart. However, it seems to have some issues out of the box. Biggest things I've noticed is that random the 'p' and '/' keys aren't working, and it will even send '/' to whatever textfield I'm in sometimes. The mouse has also cut out a couple of times, most notably at the same time as the keyboard starts going wonky.

I've also had it fluctuate from 60c to 90c just while sitting idle, and sometimes the fans even kick in and everything kind of freezes for a bit. No error messages or anything popping up, just little glitches here and there.

Are these known issues with fixes, or did I get a bad laptop? In the case of the latter, Newegg (where I bought it from) conveniently doesn't even have my model listed anymore for an exchange, and I anticipate will try to screw me over by not refunding the full amount because of the free MGS offer. Would I be better off going through Dell's support/warranty stuff in this case?

    Thanks!

Okay, thanks. I noticed the 2015 specific one after posting. Saw the Alienware 17, still not familiar with all the versions out there.
