Under the always popular, "Dell Drivers and Downloads" there is a new driver update for SATA Drives. It's for Seagate Firmware - it's recommended

    Just passing along...

    Thanks Sandy!

I tend to not go out there as often any longer, so always good to hear that the drivers are still being updated from time to time.

I stumbled onto that Seagate update because I got a driver update warning for Ricoh Media Card Reader via Windows Action Center (see attached print screen.) I reinstalled my OS last month and swore I had all the "latest" drivers since I got them from Dells website. The driver that was downloaded via Windows Action Center I do not see on Dell's Drivers and Downloads. It's different....

The one under CD/DVD for Ricoh Media Card Reader on Dell's Drivers and Downloads is R251071 - the one Windows Action Center notified me about is R240788 - which I don't see on Dells website. I ran it and everything is fine.

During the process I stumbled onto the the new Driver update for Seagate and thought I would pass along...

    Sandy
