Go into Disk Management and assign the new HDD a drive path/letter.

Ok cool, went to Disk management and I "see" the drives. Awesome! Now, I right click on Disk1 and i choose:?

    New simple Volume...
    New spanned Volume...
New striped or mirrorred... (NO RAID so this doesn't make sense correct?)

BTW: Awesome Avatar, I just sold my 2008 Suzuki B-King. My dad and I go to the strip and race each other. He has a 08 Bking and modded 09 Busa... Anyway, throwing out some street bike love here... lol, back to work!

    Thanks again

Lol, No prob. I have a 2004 R-6 that I havn't been able to ride in over 2.5 years. It's at my parents and I have no where to store it inside here since I have an APT :(. Gotta find somone to go in on a storage unit with me so I can get some riding time in :D

You should be able to do new simple volume, and it will assign a drive path and format. Then you'll be able to see the drive and access it.

Dude I am so computer illiterate... The scary thing is I am like the guy everybody comes to when they have computer issues. Scary I know...

Should I "enable file and folder compression"?

    Thanks again

Been a long time since I've done it, but I don't think I would do it. I don't remember ever doing it. My vote is no.

Well That was it! I can use my drives now so you helped me out a lot. I am suprised I have never gone to the drive management section so I am a little embarrassed. Thanks again. This website is awesome! Adding to your rep DR650SE so thanks again.
