    Hi Guys,

Got a new R4 with 7970, after having probs with drivers for it I got it in working order.

Now when it starts up and the power adapter is plugged in I get the messages about the power being battery then charger and keeps switching back! Also the press FN+F7 message pops up lots too!

Anything I can do to disable this?

    Thanks

    Daz

Can I see pics of the first one, I think I know what you are talking about, but not 100%

Also, how often does it happen?

Anyone got any ideas what I can do. It only happens when charger plugged in so it's got to be that right?

I used to get this too with the stock install of the system. I upgraded to an SSD almost immediately after receiving my R4 and installed Windows 8 RTM + all the Win7 drivers I needed. I left out the AW OSD driver since win8 has an OSD built-in for most things. I'm not seeing these popups anymore.

I recommended uninstalling the OSD drivers first to see if that solves it or do a clean install.

I'll probably try a clean install then. I'm going to phone Dell tonight and ask them what could be the problem. If they can't help me and I'm still in the time frame I may just send it back as it's awkward for me to have to do this on a newly purchased product.

    Thanks for the tip.
