There is a new version of Trixx at https://www.sapphireselectclub.com/ssc/TriXX/TriXX.aspx

12.3 broke Trixx overclocking on my 6970m. This new version says it fixed an overclocking problem with drivers 12.2+.

Can someone please confirm? (because I am at work and can't  )

    Speaking for my 5870Ms...

With Cat 12.1 and old Trixx versions... I could OC.

With Cat 12.2, 12.3 and today 12.4, I couldn't OC with old Trixx versions (and card fans were acting crazy with 12.3... some weird power saving feature I read about @Guru3D that required registry fix).

With today's Cat 12.4 and the new Trixx you just linked... I can OC and HWinFO reads everything just fine and no crazy fan behaviour/win! :D

I think it's safe to assume that Trixx will OC your 6970M just fine since it's in the release notes as fixing just that for 12.2+. Thanks for the heads up brother, else I would have stuck with 12.1 as I *NEED* those extra clocks! +rep

Now, let's see if any benches have improved any :p
