Just got it in today, very excited! Only issue to far is the the buttons in the upper right hand corner (volume up/down etc) don't seem to work. The wireless button works, but the others don't seem to do anything.

Ran the alienautopsy program, figured I could download the latest drivers and that thing just locks everything in short spurts, not sure if it was doing something really intensive or not...

    Any ideas/suggestions?

One other thing, my cousins laptop (inspiron) came with a deskop app that showed the CPU info (turbo boost etc) where can I get this?

Just to ask, are the media control buttons not working at all? Or during certain programs?

Try reinstalling the IDT audio driver. Also try the Alienware Command center since those control the buttons.

Unfortunately the Turbo boost app for sandy bridge doesn't work as well as the original i7 app did. It shows as a gadget fine, but it also stays on the taskbar which is annoying, I cannot get it off the taskbar despite my best efforts. Kinda ruins it for me.
