    Ive never had a gaming laptop so I wont assume my new M17x R2 will act like other laptops.

    First question is about the plugged in not charging, I have the A10 bios and if I run the battery down to 35% and plug it in it doesnt charge. All the laptops I have had in the past would always charge if the battery wasnt at 100%. I have the 240 AC supply, so is this the bios problem?


    Second is SSD and trim, is trim enabled with this controler or not?

    What SSD are you using? Is it he Dell one which is made by Samsung or some other you purchased on the side.

    Havent bought the ssd yet, I have a Crucial C300 in my desktop but that does SATA III.

    M17x is only capable of SATA II. Just FYI

    funny cause the comprehensive spec manual shows
    SATA-II or SATA-III hard drives
