I have just gotten my m17x, and have a question.

The headphones Im using is a Logitech headset/mic... when I plug the headphone plug into one of the headphone jacks in the laptop, I only get one side with sound... Im a bit of a noob, so is there something Im doing wrong or need to configure to have the sound in stereo or at least in both sides?

Thanks... apprecaite your help in advance.

Check your sound settings, it may be setup for 5.1 somewhere.

You can double check by going to Control Panel -> Sound -> right click on speakers/headphones, and making sure it's set to Stereo. Test your headphones on another device to make sure it's okay too.

This is Deja-vu for me. What driver version are you using for IDT audio control center?

Ok, thanks for the pointers, I tested with another pair of headphones and it was working properly, so I guess my headset isnt working correctly.

    Thanks for the help...

Aww. In a way I was hoping that I wasn't the only one to have my problem, but I'm glad it was only the headphones [:

    Toledano,

If you've already tried drivers, another pair of good headphones and what not then maybe your headphone jack might be defective. In this case, I'm not sure I can help unless I tear mine apart and see if I can find a replacement.
