    Hi guys

I have been reading the forums for awhile since i was looking at buying an AW m17x. But this is the first time posting on the forums. I live in Australia, so the CF 5870 setup was only released last Tuesday, and after some trouble, my order finaly went through on Friday. and the rep offered me a free Bose speaker or AW Keyboard or AW mouse, but no discounts were available. (i took the keyboard since i already have a 5.1 setup and didnt like the mouse very much..) and its ETA is 11 june. BTW the AW name plate on the back is not available in Australia or NewZeland... (was very very disapointed :( )

There is just a couple of noobish questions i wanted to ask.

First, is there any one at the forums from australia that has got the CF system already ? if so, is there any problems on the system?

Second, i wanted to put an SSD drive in the system, but the cost was a very big jump. so i was thinking of changing the setup my self of having a single SSD and single SATA drive, and have all system / software / games installed on the SSD and have SATA drive as a memory holder. (currently have 2x 320GB SATA setup)

Finaly, after i get a new system is there any changes i need to make to the OS or software to improve performance ? I did at one point saw a post about it, but i cannot find it anymore.. if someone could link me there again would be much appreciated.

    Thanks guys

    Hey, welcome!
In case you go the ssd route there's a thread in my sig with quite a lot of info on tweaking windows. If you stick with the hdds there's nothing you need to do to your windows.
