I just got this laptop, and it came without a drive. I loaded W7 Ultimate 64 bit, downloaded the apps and drivers from Dell and installed. Prior to loading the O.S. all the lights were lit and red. After install, everything is blue except for the keyboard which is not lit at all. Within the Alienware folder on the start menu, there is a folder Command center, with Command center is the actual Command Center App. If I try to launch the App, I get the following error:
External component has thrown an exception.
Does anyone know a fix for this? I have already tried reinstalling the Command Center. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
