    No power

    Hi.
    I have a Alienware m17 r2.
I recently had to change the keyboard because of a problem with the old one. Everything fine here, but I managed to mess with the small power ribbon, the one that starts underneath the power button. Basically, I broke the ribbon connector and after hours of work, I managed somehow to use some sort of duck tape to fix the ribbon in the right place.
Because the ribbon had some problems ( It was only working when sitted in a certain position), I decided to buy a new one.
Today, the new ribbon arrived and I tried to do the switch. Now it's not starting at all. I tried to use the old one, same thing, it doesn't boot, no power at all. It doesn't even charge, the buttons and the alien logo stay unlitten.
I wonder if I managed to brick it. I'm considering buying a new power button panel, at least to be able to plug in the ribbon properly.
Any suggestion on what should I do?
    Thanks in advance.
