Noob question? microsoft .net framework error/alienfx controller

Hey all,
Just picked up an older M17x. Thinking I was such a smart guy and wanting to start fresh I did a clean install of windows 7 Ult etc. Spent the last week downloading different drivers etc and 3 installs later I am still getting an error after logging on to windows. Microsoft .NET framework error. Says alienfx controller object or something. No matter what I do it keeps coming back. I have read a million posts and just seem to not be looking in the right place. Its a plain old vanilla M17x with the two 560 GPU's. I used all of Dell's latest drivers and installed them in exact order as suggested. I have also COMPLETELY deleted Command Center a bunch of times. Using the newest version from dell.

Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Not to mention save what little hair i haven't pulled out yet.

I think you need to install ASP.NET from Microsoft. I remember I had the same problem when doing a clean install. The guide I went by had no mention of it being needed.

The errors went away after I installed ASP.NET. Get the latest one and you should be good.
