    Where did you get the vinyl?

    It's tempting to try to do that but I fear that it'd be like a blank canvas and i'd want to paint it!

    Indeed, but fruity company might sue them :p as they do with everybody that 'seem to steal' their 'iDeas'.
    Plus it won't look that great when half the world will have it the same color as you ;)

    To be quiet honest, I think the palmrest area looks quite... ugly, especially considering the black keyboard. Not my thing, but it's a very neat job, well done.

    Now, do it in silver and I'll be impressed. :p

    True that ;) It is definitely a novelty to have one of the only white Alienwares around, and a damn fine looking one at that!

    And about that rotten fruit... those lawsuits are getting old really fast.

    And knowing me i will try other colors. i get bored really easily. And i wish i could do the key board but it would be pretty impossible. And i was thinking of doing a silver next. And there really isnt a guide to do. If you need help with dissasembling your computer to apply the stuff i can help you with that. And thanks for all the replies makes me feel good about my work.

    I've done something similar using 3M controltac a couple of months back, there are a few more companies that make similar stuff. Just search for wrapping film.
