75% ?? way to go for promoting their driver......

Mine currently running 35-38 FPS Outdoor, 25-28 when run the car at the high speed, and some stutering problem occurs in this game, especially when driving a vehicle. not to mention when it's rain that will cost some FPS. Currently using a high setting, AA set to FXAA, with graphic driver 332.21. It's wonderful looking game  Lets see if this driver really boost that number. This game really boost your CPU work load..... :(

I want to download & install this drivers ASAP but need to waiting for modded graphic driver lord j95 for him to uploading his .inf file..... :p

Haha, I'm sure he'll be all over it :notworthy:

For me update through Experience went through for the first time - but did take an age.

One or two FPS up on all the game benchmarks at ultra and all playable :D.

Speak of the devil..... he just updated it.... :D

Anyway guys, it is just me out of the cave, or maybe it's been too long since I updated my graphic driver. But Since when that NVIDIA Shadowplay are available for notebook ?

    shadowplay.jpg

Edit : Already Installed and test for some game. Battlefield 4, Arkham City,Titan Fall, gain a small FPS increase around 3-5 FPS. Another story for Watch Dog which gain 10-12 FPS increase compare to 332.21 for the same display and graphic setting, more importantly it significant decreasing some stutering issues within this game.

Your getting 35-38 outdoor? I'm running an 880m alongside an i7 4700MQ at low settings, and I'm just barely touching 32 at all times. What settings are you actually using?

i am running at 1600x900 with vsync on and temporal SMAA, and most settings on high with motion blur disabled and i think HBAO+Low with high textures and i go from anywhere between 30-60fps but for the most part it's staying within the 50-60fps and it drops during driving or whenever the game saves to your profile or is streaming in level content.

Since this driver is good, I can now push the LoD to Ultra, AA to temporal SMAA, But I lowering the GPU max buffered frames into 2 since it give me some FPS increase....

I've just tested this driver, not on Watchdogs though (don't have it).

All identical performance to previous beta & whql driver on the following benchmarks & game benchmarks, apart from a 4% increase in frame rate for F1 2012 funnily enough!

    3DMark11
    3DMark 2013 (Firestrike)
    F1 2012: 4% increase in avg fps
    Batman Arkham City
    Batman Arkham Origins
    Metro Last Light
    Grid 2
    Tomb Raider

Driver working fine in Titanfall too, like the previous beta & whql.

Been playing the game for a couple of hours now. I played the game before i updated last night for two hours.

Nvidia experience worked for me this time, and i do see a slight improvement. I hit the 30FPS round about all the time. But i still think we need a new patch. its laggy at times.

I played several games yesterday and noticed no difference between this new driver and the 337.81 beta I was using before. At first blush, it does seems to not do as well with benchmarks so I'll probably not be keeping it since benching is the most important thing to me. Based on all of the complaints in the NVIDIA Community thread for this driver, I am not sure if there is any point testing it under Windows 8.1.1. At the moment, I only have it installed with Windows 7. I'll do a little more benching before I decide whether to keep it or not. I'm not having any issues at all with stability or gaming performance.

Oh keep me updated brother Fox. I'm running this driver on Windows 8.1 and it actually hasn't improved anything for me bar setting my core clock back to normal.

I'm guessing its not a "Dell's 680M" as I've a 680M(the one that shipped with my maxed out m17xr4)and I get around 25 fps, and horrid shuttering as soon as it ocasionally reaches 30fps and drops as low as 5 fps to go up to 25fps, and hang around that (20-25)

For those interested, I think these drivers are OK. Seem to be fine for me.

Interesting. Its funny that you get the expected scores in 3D Mark 11, but I get snot as my core clock runs at 250mhz constantly throughout the entire test. I'm guessing the 880m's are screwed for a while.

I'm going to do more testing in Windows 7 on the M18xR2. Under Windows 8.1.1 it seems to give a very minor performance boost and my first impression was the opposite with just one run of 3DMark11. I did the above testing in Windows 8.1.1 so I could use both machines to help validate the results, and it was consistent minor improvement on both of them. (I don't have Windows 7 on the Alienware 18 right now, so I had to use Windows 8.1.1 to get a more accurate comparison.)

Can't even get Watch Dogs to run on mine, I launch the game and the laptop just dies....completely. It is like there is no battery in and someone pulls the AC adapter, and it does not restart on it's own.....weird as hell. Reinstalling does not seem to help :S

Funny part is my buddy has the same configed 17 and it runs fine on his....figure that out haha....Needless to say I will be keeping a close eye on my system.

hmmm....with the textures set to medium it seems my stutter has reduced while driving....but still playing at 900p.

probably has to do with the engine and how it deals with streaming in textures.

here are my settings till they fix the damn game:

I had optimal settings applied automatically via geforce today. I'm yet to test the game out to see if it has made any difference what so ever.

Edit: Everything on medium, motion blur off = 34 FPS lowest and 47 FPS highest :) My core clock dropped to 231mhz though at times during my 15 minutes of testing. I really can't wait for a vbios to come out for this damn 880m.

I reinstalled the drivers (Clean install) and finally I can play at textures in high, FXAA, and Graphics Quality in Ultra except AO set to MBAO with around 30fps while driving with my 680M with rare shuttering now and then.

I tried to +100Mhz GPU clock and +200 memory clock to my 680M but saw no impact on the game besides temperature invrease (70ºC before OC 79-80ºC after OC)

Tried textures in ultra and was a no-go, while walking or indoors kept around 30-35fps driving was having drops below 20fps (I recall seeing 7fps on one of the drops)

So as it turns out it was my CPU going into thermal melt down mode.......I repasted last month and used the stuff we have at work...you would think working in a data centre we would have some top notch thermal compound but turns out NOPEEEEE....it had all but evaporated and left me with well....basically a dried turd for compound left to try and dissipate heat with. I was making a video with Windows movie maker and CoreTemp was going nuts, pushing core 2 into 100 degree territory. Re-Pasted, found the crap paste and replaced it with arctic silver and now everything is back in working order....my Firestrike scores went back to where they should be, Watch Dogs runs now, go figure. I guess it ramps up the CPU pretty hard on launch, it spiked all 4 cores anyways for a brief few seconds and that may have been enough to overload it I guess and shut down from overheating. I figured it had to be hardware as I have someone with an identical machine who runs it just fine and I had tried everything short of a fresh install of windows.

Anyways, yeah.... problem solved. I also reverted back to A09 in case that was causing issues but I am pretty sure it was the thermal issue.

One man's experience, but the new driver is a disaster.

In the Bioshock:Infinite benchmark at full detail in 1080, I was getting 60fps avg. With the new driver, it's 30 and down to 3fps minimum.

Story is much the same in Battlefield 4. It was perfectly, consistently playable before, now it lags at random moments down to 2 fps.

Will be rolling back this one in the am.

That's weird, Bioshock Infinite performance is identical for me in comparison to both the previous beta & previous whql. What's your system? If you have a Kepler GPU (like I do), then you might want to check if you have other issues with your system - temperatures & throttling for instance. Possible that those problems just happened to coincide with your new driver install. If that doesn't work, then try doing a clean reinstall of the driver by uninstalling the driver, running a program called Display Driver Uninstaller to remove all remnants of NVidia graphics drivers, and then reinstall the driver. Here's the link to Display Driver Uninstaller (a reputable program & link):

are you kidding ? have you checked your cpu ? enrgy saver mode maybe ? or optimus on ? lol

mys asus n550jk with gtx 850m oc @gpu135MHz - @memory 190 MHz runs watchdogs at 33FPS - 38fps average outside beyond 30fps outside even when driving for sure.
and this laptop does 40-44fps average Inside and sometimes outsides it dépends.... with 337.88 drivers high mode 900p temporal smaa blur motion on vsync off so i guess you've a serious problem with your gtx 880m

I gave up and purchased the game for my PS4...at least i'm able to play it and enjoy it
