No micro pauses for me that I've noticed.

Hi, for me it's working fine but I am seeing a LOT of people screaming about how long this micro-stutter has been going on. The weirdest fix (confirmed by many!) is to put your machine to sleep. Wake it up and game, the problem only returns after a reboot .

The NV mod did say during the last driver that 'some' stuttering fixes had been applied but they still have not bottomed out the problem. If an older driver works for you then use that until one comes out that fixes your problem. It's not like the new driver is going to give you any dramatic improvements. SLi machines seem particularly susceptible to the problem.

    Hi, I TOTALLY AGREE!

I'm still on v331.82 - on my GTX 680M and GTX 780i - but with the upcoming triple-A game releases TW3, GTA 5, etc. its perhaps a time for an update.

I will definitely keep a close check on user feedback on the next driver releases.

Just update it last night and spent maybe almost 6 hours in front of my laptop afterwards. Seeing no issue so far...... I will check with the next library of my game to see if any issues detected. But so far, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Watch Dog, Both of Metro Redux running fine. And it really fix the CTE problem for Dead Rising 3 on my system :D But for performance increase, I can't see any difference compare to previous driver.....

    I'm using 8.1 btw.....

I'm not sure if @jameslee3978 is an AW17 user himself, but there was another AW 17 user having issues too. Set 120Hz then reboot.

    344.11 won't install on my AW17/780m

I did a clean install using DDU and now the installer sits at the 'checking system compatibility' step and won't go any further. Any ideas?

So my crystal ball is detecting Win8.1... :D
Always use the latest DDU from here or here/discuss, many are posting wrong links, not MickyD btw.
Run as administrator or extract driver (7-Zip) -> run setup.exe.
Re-download if it still doesn't work.

Oops...sorry, I should have been more specific.

DDU ran just fine and removed everything.

It's the NVidia installer that just hangs at the 'checking system' step.

Far too many Fermi cards (580m/675m) are failing with this driver. Desktops as well. Do not use on older cards! OP updated.

That is strange . There has been a GFE update recently, have you applied that? What GPU do you have? I wouldn't put it past them to have somehow blocked the latest (bad) driver for fermi cards...

Yeah, it's (GFE) not quite the solid product but is getting much better - and uploaders are saying good things about the video capture feature.

When 320 started to burn out cards I posted this so that you get updates to game and Sli profiles and only notified of a later driver:
