The feedback over in the NV forums are panning the .75 release and the previous one. Causing more problems than fixing any.

NV are heralding AC Unity ready as the reason for the release. My conspiracy radar is off the screen! The .48 driver already contained AC Unity (and FC4) profiles but not mentioned. Now this one comes out and what's the bet a couple of days before FC4 another one will hit? ( was I right)
I'm thinking they are trying to fix the problems (and there are loads of reports) with the 970/980 cards and/or COD 4 crashes so leave out the game announcements and they can legitimately release updates as just 'game updates'?
Whatever, all testing for all the poor souls that have invested heavily in 970/980 rigs will start again.

Install (upgrade) went smoothly. As expected all tests same as previous version BUT, I lost the top level of overclock that was opened up by the last version on a couple of tests.
Heaven 4 resets the card back to stock during the run and Bioshock Infinite crashes out. I'll see how AC:U works out before considering a roll-back.

I've had these running for a couple of days, drivers are fine & performing like the previous whql. Same performance in game benchmarks (Tomb Raider, Batman Arkham Origins, Metro Last Light) and in synthetics (3DMark11). Titanfall & Wolfenstein The New Order both play fine too on these.
MickyD, my max overclock is still stable with these drivers (on Heaven benchmark too), maybe your overclock was just a little too borderline before & it was coincidence with this driver, but if you know it was rock solid before for like weeks then I reckon you can say it's the drivers.MickyD1234 likes this. -

Spot on Robbo, I never got to fully test the other one so it could have easily just been a coincidence.
Midnight tonight for AC:U if they are on-time.

after a windows critical update last night my stock driver 680M crashed, BSOD, stuttered, freeze, you name it. it kept switching back and forth between intel HD4000 and the 680M causing black screen every 2-3 secs.
i have pre-downloaded 340.52 driver, tested it and problem persists. Downloaded "this" new driver and everything works normally.
Except MSI afterburner now shows the switching in the graph. -

I had my first BSOD (can't remember the module but it wasn't an NV one) with the latest win update. Halfway through the install, restarted and it continued with the update and recovered all OK - so far!
I don't need to add to the shi*storm about Unity except to say it's all true. GF Experience tells me my GPU is below minimum spec. Still playing with the settings but really not worth the aggravation.

It's even made mainstream news on the BBC! BBC News - Assassin's Creed: Unity criticised for widespread glitches
Seems that only desktop 970/980 can manage a decent FPS - ignoring all the glitches - at anything over medium settings. We'll see what Ubisoft come up with but I haven't even tried 3D yet, pointless with FPS never over 25 -
Hello,
I'm having an issue. I tried to update to the newst driver today, picking them up from laptopvideo2go since I'm running a GTX 675M on a M17xR3, but here's where the problem happened. Seems like the driver installed correctly till it asked to reboot the system, after that it's like the driver was never installed. It does not detect my VGA anymore in Device Manager.
To sum it up:
1. Tried to install the newest NVIDIA drivers (with the needed modified .inf)
2. Drivers seems to have installed but they didn't
3. VGA doesn't show in device manager anymore
4. VGA DOES show in BIOS
5. If I try to install older drivers it says that my system doesn't have a compatible Graphic Card
6. Tried to load BIOS default settings, no use
I am kinda running out of options here, anyone can help?
EDIT: I also tried to re-seat the card, no use.
EDIT 2: Seems like I've fixed it. Is it possible that installing the new drivers somehow caused some issues to the PCI drivers? -

. What did you do?
The 675m is the same unreliable card as the 580m (rebadge) and has often crapped out after a driver update. I started with an R3/580m and after multiple failures I got the one in my sig. Still had a 675m failure so after dell replaced it I went for a 680m - sweet card!
If you get stuck again try DDU to strip out any settings and reg entries left behind by a driver install. Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) 13.5.1.2Robbo99999 likes this. -

Well the FC4 version is now out. 334.75.
Jeez why do we need a complete new driver every time an 'A' title comes out...

My stock 3DMark 11 P-Score went up 3 points with 344.75.
One good thing: The latest drivers have very consistent benchmark results.
