Hello, I have recently tried to play LA Noire on my Alienware M17x R4, and I noticed that the game was lagging significantly. After a while of searching, I checked my BIOS and found that the discrete graphics card is not detected and I can't locate my nvidia graphics card in my device manager. I've tried to open the nvidia control panel, but it gives me a warning wind saying the graphcis card is not detected. This laptop is currently running on its integrated graphics card now. I have also been getting a message on my screen before the start up saying, my adapter is 180w and it should 240w. I have noticed that with the current charger, it's no charging the laptop at all, just merely provides power. I have also noticed that I can't turn on my laptop without connecting my adapter, even though my battery percentage is still at 38%. I've had this laptop for about 8 months, and I have never had this kind of problems before. :( I've only got these problems about a month ago, and I have tried contacting dell twice on the support page and PM some representatives, but they never got back to me... This is really unacceptable that no replies are coming from the support at all, and also that the hardwares just stopped working like this. :( I live in Canada, but I am currently in UAE for an internship, so I would like to be able to schedule some sort of a check up or a repair from Dell if possible when I'm back in January, or if there is a Del branch in UAE, I would like to get some help here. I believe my warranty is still active.

Better to fix it when you are back home, less hassle. The video card seems to have died, if reseatting does not help then it's better to call tech support and get it replaced.
