has any one been using nvidia shadow play?

recently, the recording are giving me choppy sounds
did that on nfs rivals, i assumed it was due to the game being locked at 30fps(recording at default 60fps)
but now it has been happening on other games too, bioshock infinite, batman AO etc

this is happening with the latest shadow play drivers(1.7.1?) which were bundled with the 331.93

the shadow play driver 1.6.1 was giving normal recording, but i updated because of new features in 1.7.1(microphone recording, change recording resolution etc)

    any one having these issues?

well, officially, its not supported on mobile gpus but it can be enabled with a little trick

    normally you would get this
    Screenshot_1.png

here is how to enable it

    1. get the latest stable drivers and geforce experience

    2. create a shortcut to the geforce experience launcher, usually it is GFExperience.exe
most likely to be found at C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience\GFExperience.exe

    3. right click on the shortcut and click properties

    4. in the target box, add
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience\GFExperience.exe"<space>-shadowplay
(-shadowplay should be outside the apostrophe and have a space before it)
    Screenshot_4.png

double click it(i have renamed the icon to ShadowPlay, just to differentiate it from the Geforce experience launcher

    And VOILA!
    you have shadow play enabled!

    thanks, just did that

    sadly no avail,
    still choppy audio in recording
in game audio is perfectly fine

EDIT: maybe the problem is in game audio + microphone recording(my microphone is disabled)
will select in game audio only, see if that works

    found the solution
    really stupid of me!

the in game audio+microphone was selected but the microphone was DISABLED! (i know really stupid)
maybe that is why the audio was choppy
now both the modes are working fine

    thanks to all!

EDIT: i already had the version 1.8, had not checked earlier
