Doesn't work without modding it as the id strings aren't there for the 460m in the R3 :( once nodded they work great though, no issues so far. :D

    Which [Section0__] did you use?
or did you just use the last .inf from laptopvideo2go?

edit: You don't have optimus, nevermind :/

No you have to just add the id strings from the Dell driver to the NVDM file in the Display_Driver folder. If you want me to post it up let me know and I'll post a pre-modded.

    Wow
    They finally made firefox configurable!
    ...and Autocad!
    (optimus profile)

EDIT: ...but firefox also doesn't turn on GPU for HD flash content, unless already running with nvidia gpu

I just opened up windows experience index and, to my surprise, noticed this:

New drivers seem to have an optimus profile for WEI. Previous (desktop graphics) score was like 5.4 or something, so it's quite obvious (not that WEI scores are meaningful).

Mine have always been 7.1 for Graphics & Gaming. Unless you are specifically referring to Optimus dropping the score down a bit.

So for anyone who wants to try this beta drivers have to have the pci-gen off as well?

haven't tried it with it on, didn't feel there was any chance it'd work on my system.

I was quite obviously referring to optimus.
"Desktop Graphics" previously used the IGP to process information, not nvidia's GPU.

This doesn't fix the DX11 issues in Dragon Age II. I ended up having to grab the 267.31 beta drivers (available only for desktop 580) and modding the INF to install onto my m17x R1.

Despite the change notes being nearly identical for all three recent beta releases (.24, .26, and .31) in that supposedly .26 and .31 are only supposed to be bug fixes for the 560Ti and 580 (respectively) I've found I can actually play DA2 in DX11 with "High" level of detail, the optional texture pack, and 2x AA (no antriscopic filtering or other options). Skipping is minimal (only drags in larger battles) and temps/clocks appear to be about where I would expect them (high 60's C with stock clocks).

Hopefully next beta release for mobile cards will have this fix, whatever it was (doesn't appear to be a profile issue, I did root around and check between the two when I went from .24 to .31)
