If there hasn't been native support in the 3 releases since the R3 was released that means it probably won't ever show up in Nvidia drivers, really sucks cause that means Dell has told them not to include it in the drivers. What a joke.

It's up to laptop manufacturers to release compatible drivers for their systems. It has always been like that :(

The Verde program exists specifically to provide OEM drivers.

Most of the laptops Dell/AW makes have been oficially supported even though they may not always work the best, the issue comes when Dell tells them to not even put the id strings and other required info in the driver package to prevent anyone from using that driver that doesn't know how to mod the .inf files. Basically it looks to me as though Dell is trying to turn AW into Asus rather than ultra performance top of the line rigs with no compromises.

Yes but the cards have a Dell vBIOS and if Dell won't give the id strings and settings nVidia can't provide you with a R3 driver.
It's wrong pointing at them (nVIDIA).

L.EDIT: yes basically what Dane said, that is the reason we don't see it supported in the latest Verde releases.

Yea, but just about anyone with a set of eyes should be able to get the drivers to install if they really want to.
Use exam diff and examine the two files.
