    OC R4 7970m void warranty

    Just wondering if I OC my M17x R4 7970m if it will void my warranty.

    I never played around with the voltage settings - just the core/clock.

    I apologize if this had been asked before. I tried doing a search.

    no it will not void your warranty but if you run FURMARK and OC and your VIDEO CARD BURNS... the warranty will be voided :S so dotn run FURMARK

    Hard for them to prove though ;)

    However, don't run Furmark. Stresses the GPU way too much.

    We don't recommend the OC settings on video cards, it would be better to leave it on factory settings or making sure it has good cooling. Here are the warranty statements for our systems.
