Just tried some overclocking and wanted some input. While I was on the dell driver I ran 14528 on stock clocks, overclocked to 800/1100 and posted 14788. I then loaded the lastest driver from AMDs site and overclocked (800/1100) I posted 14434. One thing I noticed while on dell drivers my cards showed up as 5870s and on the AMD drivers it just said 5800 series. Is that normal? Are my numbers on par with my set-up and clock speeds? Also GPUz is showing that my second GPU isnt overclocked (GPU1 @ 800/1100 GPU2 @ 700/1000) dont know if thats right or not. Thanks for any input.
P.S. tests were done with 3Dmark06

The 5800 series thing is normal. It won't affect anything. If one of your cards is running at 700/1000, then both of them are. It's a 'weakest link' type of thing. Did you OC them both? If not, they've both got to be OC'd to the same clocks. Also, what method are you using to OC?

Also AMD GPU Clock Tool says my cards are running 99/150 but GPUZ says they are 700/1000. When I over clock GPUZ says card1 is 800/1100 and card 2 is 700/1000 but AMD GPU Tool still says 99/150 for both cards.

You can ignore those 99/150 clocks. I think they're just at those clocks when they're not in use. AMD GPU Clock Tool does the same thing to me when I try to OC the other card. The best way to OC is to flash the VBIOS with an OC'd one like Joker pointed to in his link. Your speeds will only be as fast as that slowest card, so you've got to get it OC'd as well if you want to see any gains.

is there any other easier way to OC the GPU? saw from somewhere on the forum that EVGA precision can be used? how do i go about doing that? just download it, and im good to go?
