So the OSD on my M17x periodically stops working. The process is still running, and the hotkeys (usually) continue to work, but the display is gone. A08 bios, latest version of the OSD.

    Any ideas?

that happened to me the other day...drove me nuts... it still worked. its an issue with Win 7 not recognizing the icons

if you do a shut down rather than restart, it will fix it. Dont be surprised if it happens again though

What I do on my R1 when that happens is go to program files/osd and run osd_main. Most of the times it fixes the icons showing up.

    I found this as well,

what happened, when u alt+tab you get a blank overlay of OSD.

i found that if the OSD isnt on "top" the OSD Display doesnt pop up.

not sure if this is the case for everyone but just alt+tab and put OSD on top and the display will be back
