    Hi all,

    A silly question but on the Dell downloads website for the R3 it has new version of OSD and Command Centre, can these be used with the R2?

    I doubt since they have different boards(media buttons,AlienFX board etc.) so the software uses a different way to control them.

    Be careful with mixing these. Especially Command Center and OSD. My advice, for those two at least, stick with the ones for your specific system. CC and OSD are way to 'home grown'. They may have specific changes which do not apply to the R2/R1 which can introduce issues.

    Remember, CC flashes the AlienFX firmware - this can seriously hose your system if there is an incompatibility.

    I forgot i flashes the AlienFX firmware :).

    Hopefully there will be some more updates soon, as the R3 has been taken of the site.
