Hello, when I install the OSD application I get these 2 programs to start at windows boot, launch.exe and launch_cc.exe, actually none of these enable the OSD so i have to manually put on windows boot OSD_main.exe (all from C:\Program Files\OSD\ ). My question is what are launch.exe and launch_cc.exe? can i remove these 2 files from startup and leave only the osd_main.exe? thank you.

they are the two files needed to start OSD

They are the only two items that are started for OSD. If your OSD doesn't work with these two files starting, you may have to do an un-install/re-install.

i removed launch_cc from startup, created a shortcut of OSD_Main.exe and paste it in startup folder. (i only use OSD_main, launch_cc or other exe seems useless)

anyway, launch_cc.exe does turn on the osd, but u will need to terminate all osd related processes 1st in task manager, there seems to be a bug where launch_cc sometimes wont turn on osd_main during startup.

Somewhat off-topic, but related to OSD - has anyone else had trouble with OSD crashing on startup if you have more than one display?

I used Reflector to poke around in the OSD executable and it appears to just assume you only have one display and does not gracefully handle any other situation.

Or does this utility even matter much?
