Since I'm new to gaming.. can I play Call of Duty MW 2 on windows 7? I found it at the store for 15.00. It only listed XP & Vista. I just bought a M 17 R4 with 7970. I get it on Friday..I'm really looking forward to it.
Should I buy only games that state "win 7" ?
    Thanks again for the help

Yes, your PC will have a compatibility mode, which will enable for that game and all older games.

I'm pretty sure COD MW2 will run on your computer.

If you run into any trouble, set it to compatibility mode.

Does buying the games off Steam matter at all, because Half-Life ran flawlessly?

check out gog.com (good old games) they have tons of older games at great prices and they are all fixed/altered and optimized to run on new windows systems.

It will run, i have played it my self on my R2 when i had 5870's. You won't even need to run it in compatibility mode.
