update: corrected awkward typo from GTX 275m to GTX 675m

    Hi,
    in
The Dell Online Store: Build Your System
the ATI 7970 is $150 cheaper than the GTX 675.

    Which leaves me dumbfunded.
A price glitch to take advantage of?
    Any idea?

    Regards,

    Correction: GTX 675M, not 275m :p
That's no mistake, AMD cards are cheaper than nVidia.
It will probably remain that way for a long time to come if the loyalists keep buying overpriced cards.

Go with the 7970M, it's full of win.

torn... :) Have a unique situation where someone would sell me a Sams. Series 7 Gamer for a very low amount as an exchange for a system. This place however does not have any system with a 7970m card. Now, I could also opt for a non-gamer system at that place and pay some extra (e.g. for a Vaio Z); and buy an Alienware additionally. decisions decisions.

Vaio Z + AW sounds like u got all bases covered.
Vaio for on the go, AW for gaming (win/win).

I've heard Alienware overprices Nvidia cards. For Clevo machines, the 7970M is $100 more than the 675M.

Timing to buy Vaio Z stinks though since the ivybridge refresh should come out shortly :(
