Found this on Maximum PC for all you Nvidia lovers.
.....the GeForce GTX 680M. Based on Nvidia's Kepler architecture, the GeForce GTX 680M is a high-octane GPU with 1344 CUDA cores, 4GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, and full support for Nvidia's battery-friendly Optimus technology....
btw...notebookcheck.net just put the 680m above the 7970m on its gaming benchmarks list. No FPS ran yet.

Yep, just checked out the site. Built a 17in with the 680, a 3820, Killer Wireless and 8gb ram, single 750GB hdd........just over $2500. Right in the ballpark with an R4 configured similarly and the 7970.
Been considering an R4 but even talking to sales reps on the phone isn't getting them to budge on the prices. Best I've gotten was the standard $50 off coupon and the always offered free shipping and discount for upgrading the graphics card. Think I'm going to order one of the Origins. -
This is a forum for discussing Alienware laptops. But, good luck with the Origin... hope you like it. Looks like you'll have to wait until July to get it if the information on their web site is accurate.
I'm sure Alienware will be shipping 680M very soon... possibly earlier than their competitors, like they did with the 7970M. -
i agree with fox...you cant say your gonna diss your Alienware on here, not cool haha. I just added the origin aspect to point out that it is out and probably coming to Alienware soon.
Anyhow, i found a FPS sheet from notebookcheck.net of the NEW Keplar Nvidia 680m.
