    Outlet PC and name engraving?

    No, it's not an option. Outlet systems are cheaper for a reason. ;)

    i have ordered few systems and like 6 months ago it was hit or miss i got a members nametag on here from outlet and he was NBR guy. The m15x i got had a plate "M15x" and m17x was the same "M17x". you should be able to get something on there and other members were calling tech support or brian for a name plate but now brian has moved on to bigger and better things so tech support is your best bet. You can't argue too much since like anodize said you get the discounts for a reason.

    I just took the namepate out and brought it to "Things Remembered" in the mall and had them engrave my Starcraft 2 nickname on it for $15 :)

    I'm not to sure the engraver can emulate the alien font lol. However they might be able to try ;) Otherwise any other font should be available.

    Same for my m11x from the Outlet. I am expecting my m17x to come with a plate labeled “m17x” like others have posted. I shall see in a couple days.

    I've recently purchased 2 M15Xs from the dell outlet store, and once I received them, I called dell tech support, and they were kind enough to engrave 2 nameplates for me, I had them in about a week. So call tech support once you get yout laptop, they will accomodate you!
