The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Outlet PC, pretty plain packaging!

    Interesting that they don't use the original packaging ect...
    Very simple in box, with paper version of manual. No extras.
    Plain cardboard box. Comes with battery installed. No plastic sleeve for the LID.

    Also found a strange plastic tab on the LID. Seems to be between the LCD and the exterior gloss plastic. Anyone know what that might be?

    Told you it's cheaper for a reason! Why else do you think you're paying for ~50% off the MSRP? All outlet laptops come in a plain brown box with no accessories other than psu, cord, cd's, and manual.
