I have the 7970m set at its stock values (850MHz/1200MHz) and it runs at like 58 FPS on GW2 and when I overclock it it obviously improves the FPS.

However, there lies the problem when I 'reset' the OC back to its stock values, my FPS will drastically decrease to about 15 FPS.

So my question is essentially, is there a way to combat this problem? I tend to overclock it for World Vs. World and play at stock values for PVE.

P.s I use the MSI afterburner.

    The latest one.

I think it was actually just GW2 as it's currently having lots of FPS issues. I tried it on other games such as Crysis 2 and Deus Ex and when I reverted the OC to its stock values, the FPS was back to normal.
